In a few hours of work from the bookkeeper or controller, you will have calculated your organization's net environmental impact. We have divided this impact into two categories: CO2 emissions and other environmental impacts. CO2 emissions are primarily caused by flights taken, miles driven on company business, and electricity used. Other environmental impacts include the purchase and use of business materials and infrastructure like water bottles, printer cartridges, computers and office furniture. We take recycling into account in the calculation.  

The net environmental impact is represented in a dollar figure that participating companies and organizations will donate to environmental organizations focused on reducing or eliminating the impact of greenhouse emissions and other human-created environmental impacts. The study will clearly show where the company's environmental impacts come from, and we will have an opportunity to change behaviors to decrease the net impact as time goes on.
